Glass beads composed of soda lime glass are essential for providing retroreflectivity in many kinds of road surface markings. Retroreflectivity occurs when incident light from vehicles is refracted within glass beads that are imbedded in road surface markings and then reflected back into the driver's field of view

ARK KERB MARK (TRAFFIC PAIN) is an Acrylic Waterborne, fast drying Traffic Paint conforming to BL-164 specifications. The product dries to no pickup in maximum 60 minutes when properly applied under recommended conditions (refer directions for use)

ARK KERB MARK (Traffic Paint) has excellent chemical and dirt resistant which provides exceptional adhesion to concrete and asphalt surfaces.

Some key Product Features are as follows: 

• Ensure that the road surface is clean, free from dust, oil and grease
• Heavy deposits of earlier paint or thermoplastic should be removed
• Wire brushing and water washing is recommended for removal of dust from the road surface
• The surface should be thoroughly dry and free from moisture before painting
• Surface temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point but not above 50°C
• Do not paint at temperatures below 10°C or at relative humidity over 85%
• Under cold and humid conditions the paint would require longer drying time
• Two coat application is recommended for optimum performance

Clean Up Instructions:

Clean spills and spatters immediately with soap and warm water. Clean hands and tools immediately after use with soap and warm water. After cleaning, flush spray equipment with mineral spirits to prevent rusting of the equipment. Follow manufacturer's safety recommendations when using mineral spirits.

Storage & Waste Disposal:

• A minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dry and covered place For professional use only.
• Keep water-based paints from freezing.
• Keep away from children.
• Proper agitation and mixing of paint is imperative to ensure proper spray consistency,  Application results and performance
• Make sure lids are properly closed and resealed properly to avoid any spillage during prep work or transportation.
• Strictly comply with all local and federal regulations during storage, application and disposal of paints.
